Degree/Academic Title

ISM/ QEA and MOS  Master´s  Programmes are accredited by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic (MEYS) as a second-cycle higher education qualification.

According to the Czech legislation (Higher Education Act), graduates of the programme will be awarded the academic degree inženýr (engineer), which is the academic title awarded to graduates of master’s programmes in specific fields including economics, technical sciences and technologies.

The degree’s abbreviation Ing. is to be used before the name of the graduate (e.g. Ing. Jan NOVAK).

Graduates will be awarded an official diploma/degree certificate complemented by a diploma supplement corresponding to the model developed by the European Commission, Council of Europe and UNESCO.

In terms of further university studies, holders of the degree are entitled to apply for admission to Ph.D. programmes.
