The application period for 2027/2028 (start of studies in September 2027):
- Round I – November 1, 2026 – February 28, 2027 (recommended for Visa-required students)
- Round II – March 1, 2027 – April 30, 2027 (recommended for EU students or students already living in Czechia)
To finish the application, students have to pay the application fee in amount of 100 EUR. Instructions for payment will be available to you in the e-application system once you have started your e-application.
Applicants can take the admission exam for the academic year 2027/2028 only once, either within the application round I or II.

- Study documents (official certified hard copies must be sent to VŠE) for Assessment of previos education at VŠE
Admission to all bachelor study programmes taught in English at the Faculty of Informatics and Statistics is based on the results of the General Academic Prerequisites (GAP) test organized by SCIO (online test).
Applicants must follow these steps:
- Complete application to FIS and pay the application fee.
- Register for the GAP test independently on the SCIO website.
- Give consent to share your results – in your SCIO profile please enable consent for your tests results to be shared with FIS. The results are then accesible automatically. You do not need to submit results to FIS.

GAP test dates
For each application round, you can choose from two test dates. You may take the GAP test only once per application round.
- Round I (February 28) – February 20, 2027 or March 20, 2027
Application deadline for the February 20 exam: January 31, 2027

- Round II (April 30)– April 24, 2027 or May 22, 2027

The application fee includes one GAP test attempt. You will receive a voucher generated by SCIO.
