Statistics

The doctoral study program in Statistics at the Prague University of Economics and Business is supported academically and in research by three departments: the Department of Statistics and Probability, the Department of Economic Statistics, and the Department of Demography. Selection of a specific department among these statistical departments at VŠE is based on the applicant’s interest and in accordance with the supervisory capacity.

Study Subjects

Doctoral Board and Appointed Committees

The Doctoral Board monitors and evaluates the study within the doctoral study program. The chairperson of the Doctoral Board is the guarantor of the doctoral study program. The Doctoral Board consists of at least seven members, out of which at least two are not employees of the University of Economics, Prague (VŠE). The Doctoral Board meets at least once per academic year, with meetings chaired by the chairperson of the Doctoral Board.
