Ask me Ege

Hi everyone! I’m Ege, and I’m from Türkiye. I’m a first-year student in the Information Systems Management master’s programme at VŠE, focusing on Management of Business Informatics. Before moving here, I worked in business/IT roles, and that experience made me want to understand the management side of digital projects more, so studying again felt like a natural step.
I wanted a master’s that connects technology with management in a practical, real-world way, and ISM matched exactly what I was looking for. After a few months in the programme, it’s been clear to me how the courses relate to real challenges companies face today and how they give me the space to grow beyond my previous experience.
Even though I had never visited Prague before, it had always been one of my dream destinations. Moving somewhere completely new felt like a risk worth taking, and it truly paid off! The city is beautiful, easy to settle into, and full of people from all over the world.
I’m really glad to be part of the FIS Ambassador Team this year. Moving to a new country and starting a new programme can feel overwhelming at first, so if you’re curious about ISM, life at VŠE, or settling into Prague, feel free to reach out. I’m always happy to help and share what I’ve learned along the way.
