FIS Student Hiking Trip to Kokořínsko- September 26

Join us for our annual student hiking trip! 🥾🌲

This year, we’re heading from Prague to Mšeno to explore the beautiful Kokořínsko region. We’ll hike a 14 km loop from Mšeno to Kokořín Castle, continue to the famous Pokličky rock formations, and return to Mšeno.
The journey itself will be part of the experience: we’ll travel from Prague by the nostalgic Kokořín Express, a historic train pulled by the legendary “Bardotka” locomotive. We’ll take the same train back to Prague in the afternoon.

Travel

Meeting time: Prague Main Railway Station – 8:20 – outside the main entrance

Prague Main Railway Station → Mšeno Departure: 8:37 Arrival: 10:21

Mšeno → Prague Main Station Departure: 16:44 Arrival: 18:47

The hike
The route is approximately 14 km and includes Kokořín Castle and the Pokličky rock formations. Full route here.

Tickets
The train fare is 144 CZK for the full fare or 72 CZK for students under 26 with a valid ISIC card.
Please purchase your own ticket in the PID Lítačka app before the trip. We will send you guidelines on how to buy the ticket.

What to bring
Bring your own snack and enough water for the hike, and of course, comfortable shoes suitable for walking.

Registration

Registration is required, and places are limited, so be sure to sign up in advance. Unfortunately, all available places have already been filled.
