Welcome to FIS!

The Faculty of Informatics and Statistics is happy to welcome new students of its international programmes.

This year, we are welcoming 70 new students to the Bachelor’s degree programme Economic Data Science, 39 students to the Master’s degree programme Information Systems Management, and 18 students to the Master’s degree programme Economic Data Analysis.

These programmes are highly international, with students from 40 different countries joining our faculty this academic year. To help them settle in and begin their studies successfully, a series of Orientation Days was organized.

The programme included introductory presentations, guided campus tours, and a shared lunch, providing students with an opportunity to learn more about the university, meet their fellow classmates, and become familiar with campus life. As part of the Orientation Days, students also had the opportunity to visit the Old Town Hall in Prague and learn more about the city’s history and cultural heritage.
