Day of FIS PhD students

The Faculty of Informatics and Statistics of the Prague University of Economics and Business is pleased to invite you to the scientific seminar “Day of FIS PhD students”.

The 30th edition of the scientific seminar will take place on 29 January 2025 in the lecture rooms of the FIS University of Economics, 4th floor of the New Building.

The programme of the seminar will be published in January 2025. The template and guidelines for writing abstracts for presentations at the seminar can be found on this page below. The abstracts will be published as an eBook and will be available on the fis.vse.cz website – after the seminar.

Every PhD student is obliged to attend the Day of FIS PhD students within the framework of his/her PhD studies until the end of the 6th semester and present his/her scientific achievements.

However, contributions from PhD students who have presented their paper at an earlier seminar are also welcome, especially if they have made significant progress in their work.

If you decide to present at this seminar, please submit an application form in CJ or AJ, indicating the topic of your presentation, to the Department of Science and Doctoral Studies, Faculty of Informatics and Statistics, VŠE, nám. W. Churchill 4, Prague 3, in the hands of Mrs. Krajíčková (door no. 412NB) no later than 13 January 2025.
