Day of FIS PhD students
The Faculty of Informatics and Statistics at the University of Economics would like to invite you to a scientific seminar entitled “Day of FIS PhD students”.
The thirty scientific seminars will take place on the 28th January 2026. The program of the seminar will be specified in January 2025. The template and instructions for writing abstracts for presentations at the seminar can be found below on this page.
The collection of abstracts will be published as an eBook and will be available on the website www.fis.vse.cz – after ending of seminar.
Only doctoral students who enrolled before March 1, 2025, are required to attend the ” Day of FIS PhD students ” by the end of the sixth semester. Contributions from doctoral students who presented their work at an earlier seminar are also welcome, especially if they have made significant progress in their work. Doctoral students who began their studies after March 1, 2025, may also participate, although attendance at the seminar is not mandatory for them.
If you decide to speak at this seminar, I ask you to submit an application for a presentation stating the topic of your presentation in English or Czech language, at the Department of Science and Doctoral Studies, Faculty of Informatics and Statistics, University of Economics, nám. W. Churchill 4, Prague 3, to Mrs. Krajíčková (door no. 412NB) no later than to the 12th January 2026.
