Visa
Students, who are citizens from other countries than EU, have to apply for Visa for their stay in the Czech Republic.
There are two types of Visa, both will allow you to study in Czechia, issuing of Visa takes usually 60 days after submission of the Visa application:
- Long-term Visa for the study purpose (less administrative obligations after coming to Czechia)
- Long-term residence permit for the study purpose (is connected with the obligation of issuing of a biometric card after arrival to Czechia; recommended, if you plan to work during studies)

How to get an appointment at the Czech Embassy?
- Contact the local Czech Embassy or Consulate
- Students of following countries may be nominated to a Student Visa Mode (student facilitation, fast track for Visa interview, “režim student”) – we may nominate only those students, who have already obtained their recognition of the previous degree and who finished the previous studies less than 3 years ago.
