International Week 2022
The International Week took place for the sixth time. Also this year, the Faculty of Informatics and Statistics and the Faculty of Finance and Accounting in cooperation with teachers from foreign universities prepared 6 elective intensive courses taught in English. The lectures took place from 17th to 19th January. The program finished with the International Day, on 20th January, when short presentations, summarizing the content of courses, have been introduced.
The International Week courses differ from usual classes mainly in form. The classes are taught within one week during the exam period. Students themselves appreciate this form, they have the opportunity to obtain credits in a period, when there is no standard teaching held and they can also practice English.
This year’s event took place due to the epidemic situation in the online form in MS Teams and Zoom. Nevertheless, the students were enthusiastic about the event, they evaluated the courses as interesting, impressive, educational, professional but also as fun. Thanks to teachers from abroad they can gain a new perspective. This year’s International Week attracted 160 students.
