Looking back: FIS Bowling
FIS has a long-standing tradition of hosting the annual FIS Bowling event. This year, the event took place in XBowling Žižkov on Friday 22nd November, bringing together students and alumni for an evening of fun and friendly competition.
The FIS Bowling event is more than just a sports competition; it’s a celebration of community and camaraderie. Participants form teams and compete for various awards, however, the primary goal is not just to win but to enjoy a great evening with classmates and colleagues.
This year’s event saw a fantastic turnout, with all lanes fully occupied. One team consisted of students from the new Bachelor’s program in Economic Data science.
The other teams were students and alumni from the Information Systems Management and Economic Data Science Master’s programs.
FIS Bowling has become a cherished tradition. It’s an event that students and alumni look forward to each year, providing a perfect blend of sport, socializing, and school spirit.
Whether you’re a seasoned bowler or a first-timer, FIS Bowling offers something for everyone. It’s a reminder that while academic excellence is important, building lasting relationships and enjoying shared experiences are equally valuable aspects of university life.
