Orientation Days 2026
Monday 14th September – Friday 18th September

Starting your studies at a new university—and in a new country—can be exciting but also a little overwhelming. Therefore there are the Orientation Days!
If you’re a newly admitted student in EDS, ISM, or EDA, attendance at these sessions is highly recommended. You’ll learn everything from how the university works, to tips for living in Prague, and what to expect from your study programme.
It’s the perfect opportunity to ask questions, get to know your new academic environment, and start your journey with confidence.

TRIP for FIS students – 26 September
Save the date! On Saturday, 26 September, the Faculty of Informatics and Statistics (FIS) invites all FIS students to join our traditional student trip. More details will be announced soon.
KRUHY – for new EDS students
New EDS students can join the student organization Kruhy, which is designed to help first-year students settle into university life and connect with their peers.
Each kruh consists of approximately 10–15 EDS students from the same year of study, together with 1–2 senior students from the EDS programme who act as mentors. This gives new students the opportunity to receive guidance from experienced peers and to be part of a supportive group where they can share questions, experiences, and challenges throughout their first year.
In addition to regular support from mentors, students who are part of Kruhy can participate in various social and networking events organized for FIS students throughout the academic year.
More information about the Kruhy programme and how to join will be shared soon.
