The second program at FIS received the EMOS accreditation

The Master’s program in Statistics (taught in Czech language) has been awarded the prestigious international accreditation “European Master in Official Statistics” (EMOS) by Eurostat, the European Statistical System Committee (ESSC). Students of this program who successfully complete the minor specialisation “EMOS Economic Statistics“, including an internship in a national statistical service, will receive an EMOS certificate together with their diploma.

This is already the second Master’s program at FIS awarded with this accreditation. The first one was the English taught Master’s program Economic Data Analysis (EDA).     Its specialization Master in Official Statistics received this accreditation in 2017 for the first time.

This places FIS VŠE among the thirty universities in approximately fifteen European countries that have this accreditation.
