Information for newly admitted students

Have you been admitted to the ISM/ QEA or MOS programme? Will you start your studies at FIS in September 2019?

Congratulations!

We have prepared an overview with the most important things to do before the start of classes.

 

  1. Ask for assessment of previous education at VŠE, if you haven’t done it earlier. This is a legal requirement to be able to enroll you to studies.

  2. Enroll to studies! Binding online enrollment has to be confirmed till 31st August. Enrollment forms can be found in your e-application.

  3. Prepare your Visa application ASAP! The Visa procedure takes 60 days after final submission of your Visa application.
  4. Appointment at the Embassy –  the appointment has to be done usually via email or a phone call. In some cases we can nominate student for a Student Visa mode (režim student).

  5. Submit the application for dorm! The applications will be open in June. Complete the online form in ISKAM, pay the booking deposit.

  6. Pay the tuition fee for the first semester in amount of 2.500 EUR, the payment deadline is by 1st September. Payment gateway is already open.

  7. New to Prague? Would you like to get some help from VŠE current students?  ASK FOR A BUDDY ! Applications will be open later.

  8. Once your visa is approved, arrange the health insurance for your stay in Prague.

  9. New students are expected to attend the ORIENTATION WEEK (9-12 September).  The lectures start on  Monday 15th September.
