Innovation Week – April 7-10

The Innovation in Teaching Week will take place from Tuesday 7th  till Friday 10th April. During this time there will be no timetabled teaching and the week will be dedicated to interesting lectures, workshops and generally introducing modern forms of teaching.

 

  • EDS and EDA students can take the elective course Presentation and Communication Skills for 3 ECTS credits during the Innovation Week. More information about this course is available on the FIS Student SharePoint.
  • ISM students will attend the mandatory class 4SA636 – Basics of Enterprise Information Security during this week.
  • On Friday, April 10, ISM and EDA students are recommended to attend the presentations on state exams and the Master Thesis. Students will receive information on how to choose their Master Thesis topic, select a supervisor, and follow all important deadlines.
    In the second part, we will discuss the state exams — what to expect, how to prepare, and key dates and requirements. We will also address how to use AI in your Master Thesis in accordance with FIS study rules.
    Afterwards, there will be discussions with Academic Guarantors on these topics.
