New Bachelor’s Programme: Business Information Systems and Computer Science
The Faculty of Informatics and Statistics is pleased to announce that its new English-taught Bachelor’s degree programme, Business Information Systems and Computer Science(BIS), was successfully accredited last month.
The BIS programme is designed to meet the growing demand for professionals who can effectively bridge the gap between technology and business. The curriculum places a strong emphasis on information technology, artificial intelligence, and business-oriented subjects, while also developing essential communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. These competencies are critical for success in today’s dynamic and rapidly evolving job market.
By combining IT expertise with business knowledge, the programme prepares graduates to understand not only technical solutions but also their economic, organizational, and practical impact. Students will gain the skills needed to analyse business requirements, design and implement information systems, and contribute to digital transformation initiatives across various industries.
The first cohort of students will begin their studies in September 2027, with the application period opening in November 2026.
