Jean Betrand, the graduate of the Master’s degree program Information Systems Management  (2020)

“Hello,

I am Bertrand from Rwanda. 7 years ago after completing high school in Rwanda, I had a chance to move to the Czech Republic to pursue my university studies thanks to the cooperation between the Rwandan Government and Czech government. Since arriving here, I was blessed enough to learn the Czech Language at Charles University, get a bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering and Informatics  at Czech University of Life Sciences (with one year spent at Plymouth University UK within the Erasmus program) and a Master’s degree in Information Systems Management (minor in Economic Data Analysis). So that’s my education background in a nutshell.

My choice to study Masters at Prague University of Economics and Business was easy as I was looking for a University where I could get deep knowledge in both IT and Business and a better understanding of how the two fields come together to create value for stakeholders within organization. The program of Information Systems Management offered by the Faculty of Informatics and Statistics is suitable for anyone with interest in IT and Business. I am currently working as a Robotic Process Automation developer for a well established pharmaceutical company where I get a chance to use some of the concepts learnt throughout the ISM program.

University professors and coordinators are highly motivated and are always willing to help students in their journey towards the completion of the program. As for the location, The university is located near the city center of Prague. Prague is a beautiful city full of cultural, architectural attractions that will make your stay even more  enjoyable. “
