All-day trip to KARLŠTEJN

The Faculty of Informatics and Statistics would like to invite all ISM, EDA and new EDS students to a trip to the Karlštejn castle, which is located 50km far away from Prague. It is a nice gothic castle, with a long history.

We will take a train to get to the village with the same name as the castle and then  visit the Castle (a guided tour in English). Afterwards there will be a nice walk trough forests in the neighbourhood and along the river Berounka (app.17km) . There will be a possibility to go for a lunch in a restaurant.

The meeting time: Saturday October 5, 7:15am
Meeting point: 7:15am, at the entrance to the Main Railway station Prague (Hlavní nádraží)
Arrival: around 6-7pm
Registrations: will be open from September 5 till September 29 (the capacity is limited)

Tickets to the Castle and the train tickets will be covered by the Faculty. Students are expected to pay for their own lunch in the restaurant (the restaurant accepts cash only).
